Access to Secrecy. Guided tour of the Stasi Records Archive at its historic site
A public guided tour is offered (in German) every other Saturday at 11 a.m. It lasts 90 minutes and includes a tour of the historic site and the archive exhibition.
“After-hours tour” – The after-work tour of the Stasi Records Archive exhibition “Access to Secrecy” is offered every other week at 5 p.m. (in German).
Guided tours on specific topics
On the first Monday of every month, the Stasi Records Archive offers a guided tour on selected topics.
The tours cover topics such as women in the Stasi, espionage in the West, and the GDR’s efforts to combat the punk movement.
Guided tours during special events
The Stasi Records Archive regularly organises special events and participates in special “action days”. Public guided tours are also offered during these events. These include Archives Day in March, the Campus Cinema and the Long Night of Museums in August, Open Monument Day in September, and event series such as the “Lesebühne”.
